Ohai there.

My name is Markus G but online I am known as Ray (or RayOfLight ), hence RayOfLightGM. I am a nineteen year old music junkie stuck in a world that doesn't care. Geographically located in eastern Europe, Romania.

I am currently attending the National Banatean College. Such a misleading name. It's not actually a college, it's a huge high school, gymnasium and primary school. I'm in the 11th grade. One more year and I'm off to a real college. I hope I will be able to pursuit my dream and attain a web design degree. 

This blog shall be a place where my thoughts run free, dreams come true and boundaries are non existent. It's supposed to be an exercise. Both of my English language skills (since Romanian is my mother tongue) and web design skills. Photoshop-ing forum signatures and spamming the IJJI forums is my other form of practice. And since you probably didn't know, it's a gaming forum. My target is the Epilogue Crew Chat from the Drift City section, crew I've been a proud member of when I used to play the game.

It's hard to define what genres of music I like. I suppose it just has to sound good. It has to have something special 'cause it doesn't matter if its trace, rock or pop.  I'm always seeking for new and interesting songs, right after I get my daily dose of Lady Gaga. I'm a HUGE fan. A little monster.

I am also sort of a tech nerd. I love reading both tech and music blogs. My faves are Engadget, Gizmodo, GagaDaily and DivercityCafe. Combining my two passions, I own an epic iPhone with sweet Heartbeats in ear headphones and a great PC with a nice set of speakers. Music blows trough the speakers most of the time. It only stops when I'm at school, barely. The breaks are filled with music blowing out of various mobile phones, unless there's an imminent test paper coming right up and everyone's stressed out.

Movies and American TV shows sometimes replace the music, but not for very long. I enjoy watching comedies, stare at action movies and fall asleep during dramas. Play a horror movie and you've won my attention. Out of the TV shows I love Heroes, House, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory and Chelsea Lately the most. I've seen all of these shows' episodes plus UK's best thing on the little screen, Top Gear. Oh and I've almost forgot to tell you I also watch things like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, American Dad and South Park. They're a great laugh, just like Futurama, which I miss. Recently I started watching True Blood and American Idol. I want to see what this big fuss is all about.

I enjoy reading while listening to Lady Gaga. I find it very relaxing. My favorite books have to be the Eragon, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series. I've also started to fall in love with the Vampire Diaries books. I'm currently reading the second book and it's just wonderful. I'm happy that it's different from the TV Show. This way it holds my interest.
