Remixing a Lady Gaga masterpiece is just wrong.

Most of the time that is. But after listening to the album version a thousand times you kinda want more...want new things added, a little variation. That's where the two Bad Romance remixes EPs come in handy. Yes, two.

Not all of the remixes are great. Certainly not the Chew Fu one. Gosh, that one is awful. I have no idea why people like it so much.

Grum.

Probably my favorite. There's just something, something I can't put my finger on, that makes it special. It's got one of those chill feel to it. *gasp* Lightning just struck me. Seriously. I'm going to cut this and make it my wake up tone. Oh yeah!

Hercules and Love Affair.
Just as relaxed but with more ... shorter sounds. Wind chimes anyone?

Bimbo Jones.

It's got a lot of variation, just like the previous one. Any of them will do. Vocal one is longer though. Over 7 minutes of it! Lasts longer ;D Plus we're switching from slow to hyper. You better be dancing already!

Starsmith.

It keeps the feel of the other remixes but adds a little bit of fire to it. I simply love the 2:20 bit. Give it a try:

Congrats Shakira! You are the first gypsy I actually like.

The official video, launched earlier this week, is a typical Shakira video. Lots of hip action and skin showing. Unlike the She Wolf video she's now wearing decent clothes that don't look like cloth someone puked on then wrapped around her.

Supposedly the guy in the video is her new boy toy but I couldn't care less. Didn't Madonna already prove it's lame to get your boyfriend in your music video? Right.

Less QQ more Pew Pew so here's the actual video. Enjoy the belly dance

There's a way. There's a way I know. I know someday we will surely find it!

There must be a way I can make more people listen to Kaskade. There must be a way to make him more popular. It might not be trough my little blog but Hey! at least I'm trying and each and every single person *cough* snowflake *cough* counts.

If you listen to any kind of Techno Electro Progressive Something (Something Dark Side) House you must've heard of him. Or his music. You might not know who he is but probably heard one of his songs on some late night club show or at a party.

Move for me.
This song was on heavy rotation on Kiss FM. Yes, there was a period, before I got my iPhone and started using iTunes, in which I was listening to the radio. Back then I thought she said Look for me, I'll look for you. But it's Move for me, I'll move for you. Dance baby! Thanks God I got over the whole radio thing even though I am thankful for this song.

4AM.
By far my favorite song. The Adam K & Soha Remix is Awesome. Epic. Pro.
It's so fresh you can hear the ocean waves in the far distance. It's so addictive you will never want to press the Square (Stop). It's so cheerful you'd never want to stop dancing.

Angel on my shoulder.
The worldwide premiere took place earlier this week. I don't think it's anything you'll remember for a long time but it's definitely a pleasant visual experience. But. There are some great ideas behind the song lyrics and the video. You might remember those. I will definitely remember the concept and the flower-y ending.

I hope you enjoyed the journey into the world of cool house. If you liked these songs I suggest you listen to the entire Strobelite Seduction. You'll enjoy the ear candy.

It's as simple as this:
-It's part of Kid Cudi's debut album: Man on the Moon: The End of Day.
-It's not a single, it's just a great song.
-It's the last song of Act I (out of five acts).
-It's a lot of rap-ish verses but the chorus is catchy.
-It's as simple as ABC or 123.

What happens when you mix Ke$ha (Tik Tok) and 3OH!3 (Don't trust me)? You get one awesome song called Blah Blah Blah.

They launched the official video today and I like it! I want to get that so I'll stop talking this blah blah blah. Enjoy!

Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow
This is one epic song. It's one of the few songs I first heard/saw on TV. It was the Cahill Radio Edit and I fell in love.

It's been over a year since it was released as a single and I still love it up to day, when by boredom scrolling trough my iTunes library I spotted it.

It's one of those songs you never get tired of, least I don't. Cool, uplifting, relaxing, positively influencing pop-dance song. Alesha's voice complements the instruments wonderfully.
Charge up iPhone! Get warm and confy Heartbeats! You've got a great mission ahead of you!

Once again, this is a song you feel not hear.
Lyrics morph into thoughts and beats into feelings.

So I've been feeling like crap lately. Constant runny nose plus bones and muscles pain. I'm sick.

Listening to Gaga doesn't cut it. I need to be in a good mood to listen to her songs. So I've switched to a relaxing playlist. I've already told you about Leona and OneRepublic so now it's time to talk about Cheryl Cole. You might know her from Girls Aloud or X Factor. Or not.

Either way she launched her 3 Words album a while back and, surprisingly, I like it. At least for now. It's UK Pop with a boost from Will.I.Am. What more can I say?

My favorite song from the album has to be Parachute:

But I also like Fight for this love, Heaven, Make me cry and Rain on me. I actually like Make me cry A LOT. Here, give it a try:

What do you like to listen to when you're sick of feeling down?

Lost then Found, sang by Leona Lewis and Ryan from OneRepublic, is part of Leona's Echo album. Stone Hearts & Hand Grenades is a hidden track appended to Lost Then Found, they are in the same file, which I thought was some kind of error at first since there's a substantial pause between the two.

The song puts a series of question, questions which kept me awake for a while a few days ago.

Why do we say things we can't take back?
Why do we miss what we never had?
Why do you tend to forget whose vain?

The song is a rhythmic soul one, somewhat slow yet uplifting. Leona and Ryan's voices work well together and complements each other, making the finished product a great one. I sure hope they promote it after Leona's done with I got you.

On the standard version the song is the last one on the album. Not sure if it was put there deliberately but I think it's brilliant. It makes you take a break and think of answers while the album starts playing again.

Thanks to Diesector for suggesting me to write about it. And Hi Schlossy! Happy now?

Messed around in Photoshop today. This is the outcome. Comments? Ratings?

What's up with Lady Gaga and magazine covers (lately)? Or should I say Gagazines.
Oh yes, I am so proud of the word I just made up.

Last year she made a bubbly appearance on the cover of the Rolling stone. Sexy bubbles, eh?

This year, in January she was on the cover of ELLE magazine. Oh yeah.

This is the cover of the March issue of Q. Spiky.

And this is the cover of the April number of Cosmopolitan. Silky smooth.
In each and every single one she's special and different. Not like those people who do the same poses over and over again. Yey for sexy Gaga!

I'm watching you!

Lady Gaga's Bad Romance single reached the 3 million downloads milestone.

It's her 3rd single to do this after Just Dance and Poker Face.

I hope Telephone can reach that height as well, after all, it's promoting itself very well. I'm anxious to see the video! Should be out soon.

Did you know that Lady Gaga is the first artist in world to have 3 million selling singles?

Congrats Gaga! Love ya!

Timberland is either crazy.... or just bored. Take a look:

Last week he released the video for If we ever meet again featuring Katy Perry and this week Carry Out feat Timberlake. Are we to expect a new video next week as well?

The song itself is fine, if you start playing from minute 1 that is. I seriously hate his...talking. It's not rapping and it sure as hell ain't singing.

The video is...meh, just another video. Nothing special to see there, unless you develop a crush on one of the half naked chicks, or get mesmerized by their dirty dance moves...or sexy cake or cupcakes eating.

Gosh...videos nowadays. I'm waiting for Gaga's Telephone video to fix everything.

Damn this song is catchy. It's been stuck in my head for...ever now.

The video is quite a cheap one but thanks to digital special effects it looks great. Then, add some awkward helmets, both digital and real fire, half naked dancers in the background, a shiny singer in the front and you're done! Kinda the perfect example that you don't need a truck of money to make a nice looking video.

Combine the two and I think they got the epic song recipe quite right.

PS: Anyone else feeling like she's actually saying 'Hi Romania'? I know I did for a while, hehe

This is the official cover for the Telephone remixes CD. It's scheduled to launch on the 2nd of March but damn the cover is ugly.

I was expecting a lot more since her covers are usually mind blowing. I blame Beyonce, sorry :P Gaga does better on her own.

To make things better I'm giving you her Brit Awards performance. Enjoy!

The winner of International Breakthrough Act has been announced as Lady Gaga!

International Female Solo Artist and Album left. Go Gaga!

PS: She sang Telephone while playing the piano and Dance in the dark! Wohoo!

Update: She won International Female Solo Artist too! Yey ;D

Did you know she is the most legally downloaded artist?

Uuuuuupdate! Guess what? Gaga won International Album as well!

Grats ;)

Now this is awkward. It seems to me like they are admitting they have no single quality songs left on their The E.N.D. album.

Remixing two songs together (Imma be and Rock that body) and making one video for the result seems both stupid and cheap.

You can see from the video they did not really go cheap though but that's probably because there's obvious and heavy Tuborg advertising in the video. Maybe even some BMW.

Long story short: They ruined my favorite song of the album (Rock that body) by gluing it with the most annoying song of the album (Imma be). Way to go!

Three video stills have been posted on Gaga's website today. They look interesting to say the least. No trace of Beyonce though (yey)

Can't wait to see the full video. It's going to be about 11 minutes long and it'll continue the story from the Paparazzi video.

OMG OMG OMG *faints*

They're finally here!

"Wear Heartbeats, love each other and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music"
Love, Lady Gaga

Yes, it's a book. A book about Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, Lady Gaga before becoming...Lady Gaga.
It'll be out on March 2nd and I can't wait to read it. Hope it's more interesting than The Vampire Diaries otherwise it's gonna have to wait!

Oh wow...what a video...colorful music pr0n.

Where to start? No idea so I'll just go chronologically:

1. Alexander McQueen is dead. Apparently he committed suicide. That's how Flori and Nau brought me to reality this morning. Gaga posted a TwitPic of herself and Lee and left no further comment. RIP. - What a great start, right?

2. I finally received my headphones. Well, not really. I only received the paper needed to pick them up from the Customs. And they apparently only work from 10 to 12 or so. Closed on weekends. - Longest weekend ever, right Paul?

3. I had my final Cisco exam today as well. Tho I cheated by having it at home. Mwuhaha!
Seriously. I was not going to wait a whole two hours for the stupid headmasters meeting to end and THEN have the exam so I just went home with Adryana.

4. I tried to cool down by watching Grey's Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries. Right.
That stupid blonde, no, not little Grey LOL, is giving the baby for adoption! Yes, Meredith's sister, who's name I have yet to learn died her hair blonde. Sort of.
And Katherine is not in the tomb? Bonnie's grandma dies and I'm having a Leona Lewis - Run flashback while the whole thing wraps up.

5. Knock knock on the door. Dia came by and brought my sister home, who had spend her after school hours at her newest friend. Family time!

6. While still in the whole "vampire" mood I finished reading The Awakening while listening to Leona. One epic book. Shall start reading the second volume, on my PC or iPhone 'till Monday when I'll get a printed version of it.

7. Leona released her I got you video today. Pretty simple but I think that helps the message get past the screen and into our minds and souls. You can watch it below.

What a day.

I'll never be the same if we ever meet again!

This free fall got me so kiss me all night!

O M G

Katy Perry is hot as hell! Stunning!!

Look at those big beautiful gray eyes. I have gray eyes as well, if you didn't know lol Oh yes babe, our eyes are beautiful!

Whoever dressed her up and most of the cast did a great job. Grats!
But sup with Timbo's coat? Is it the same one from Morning after dark? LOL

PS: Still reading the first volume of Vampire Diaries, I got these huge headaches lately that won't let me finish the book, only bout 30 pages left!
Oh and I'm still waiting for my headphones. Move your ass faster stupid snail mail!

So Pepsi has a new commercial. Refresh everything. Blah blah blah.

Poor commercial. It's trying to broadcast a fresh set of ideas, trying to change the world, help the environment and I'm totally ignoring it. It's the song playing in the background that caught my attention so let's focus on it.

After Google-ing the lyrics I found out it's a song by Akon that features Keri Hilson called Oh Africa and that is has recently "received" a colorful video. It's supposed to be some sort of world cup song but I don't care about that either.

The song is really, really catchy. The middle verse, that is in the Pepsi commercial, is the interesting bit. I won't blame you if you just skip to it, it's at about 2:02. Nice, right?

Oh and the whole "painting on the wall" is pretty cool. Yey for "green wall" paint?

The official video has finally been released.
Looks [and sounds] pretty good, right?

Silicone, saline, poison, inject me.

Oh God. I've wanted to write about this for so long. It's one of the first songs from The Fame Monster that leaked online and it's been driving me crazy ever since.

And did I say write? My bad. Words cannot describe the epicness of this song. Saying it sounds amazing would be demeaning. You have to listen for yourself:

And look at that cover! Freaking awesome! I could stare at it all day long.

If she ever comes to Romania I'm freaking getting VIP tickets. No matter when. No matter where. No matter what the price is.
It's official: I'm obsessed with Lady Gaga. She ate my heart.

PS: Still waiting for my headphones. Time is passing by agonizingly slow.

Leona Lewis is the winner of the 3rd edition of UK's X-Factor.
Avatar broke the 2 billion barrier and Leona is the one that sings the theme song I see you, didn't you know? So she's pretty "cool" at the moment.
On the 22nd of this month she is releasing I got you as a CD single but it will be available a day earlier as a digital download.
A bit confusing: I see you, I got you, I kill you? lol

On the 6th (last night) she sang her soon to be single on UK's version of So you think you can dance, version I had no clue about. If you're lost, let me help you: The show is a dance competition, a dancing version of American Idol, or let's say X-Factor since we're talking about UK. Here's the video:

If you like this song I suggest you check out her new album Echo from which you might know her first single Happy.

Brittani Louise Tailor is fudging epic! Not a real song but whatever, it's catchy!!

Have fun getting it stuck in your head ;D

After going In for the kill, she is now Bulletproof.

Tap Tap...Revenge helped me discover her somewhat new song: Bulletproof. It's free to download so you can go ahead and grab it then spend hours mastering it.

Back to the real song, it sounds great. No deep poetic meaning hidden in the repetitive lyrics, least not one that I could find. So I went ahead and searched for a remix obviously lul and I found a great one by Foamo. Yey!

The official video is...funky and colorful at the least. I'm lovin' it!

Thankfully someone thought the two should be combined and this is what came out! Enjoy!

The world is going crazy.

How do I know that? After quite a while I want to read a (good) book. Yes, want.

What book you ask? Well, I've decided to give Lisa Jane Smith the honor and start reading her Vampire Diaries series. The Awakening being the fist volume. Now don't start with Twilight crap. Kthxbai.

I'll try and read it in English *gasp* I've never read books in English before, since it's not my first language, but I'll try. (Well, if you exclude sneak peeking at Harry Potter's ending when it was released as a set of photographs by an insane man)

However, if I fail I shall go and grab the translated version, Romanian one, on the 15th of February when ,supposedly, it is put of sale for 10$.
It's available for pre-order with some sort of discount which you don't actually get since you pay for shipping but whatever, I'm not getting ripped off AND wait an excruciating extra 5 days for it to arrive. No thx.

I know it's quite an old book, almost 20 years old, but it must be good, at least the TV version of it is epic. Any thoughts on it?

Oh, stupid me. I should've waited a bit more and pre-ordered one of these. Heartbeats headphones and a wrecked T-Shirt. Valentines day bundle they say. The message on the shirt is:

Raise a glass to mend all the broken hearts of all my wrecked up friends - Lady Gaga

Those are lyrics from her song Speechless. Care to hear her sing them? Hit the play button!

My God this sounds amazing.

The Black Kids remix is part of the Sorority Row original soundtrack. The movie ain't that great I have to admit, but it's worth watching it just so you can hear 30 seconds of the song...and see the wet girls in it.

Forget the lyrics, stop trying to understand them!
Stop listening and start feeling it!

Lady Gaga won only two Grammys: Best Dance Recording (Poker Face) and Best Electronic/Dance Album (The Fame).
Not sure how that happened but the Grammy Awards are now in a free fall in my eyes. Anyway, Contgrats!
