To continue the meaningful songs route, today's post is about Lady Gaga's Paper Gangsta song. It's part of The Fame album, an US Bonus track.
Usually bonus tracks have nothing special yet try to make you feel special for having them on your copy of the record. Not the case with Paper Gangsta. It's just as good as the rest of the tracks yet more relaxed.
It's the kind of song you listen after Just Dance or Bad Romance, when your legs are hurting from dancing at your very max. It's the song that's played in the silence, when everyone is, or at least should, be listening to the lyrics.
Basically the song is against fake engages. About "players" that just win your heart then smash it into pieces. That want you just so they can brag about it. That are just playing a Poker Face to win you over then their diamond words melt into some ice.
The song encourages you not to accept any less than someone just as real, as fabulous.
Start looking for love, not an empty page full of stuff that means nothing!
